O R D E R

[Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] Petitioner is the mother of the detenue viz., S.Priyadharshini D/o.Selvam, aged 17 years and has filed the present petition seeking a direction to first respondent to produce the detenue before this Court from the illegal custody of second respondent and hand over to the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the detenue went missing from 02.12.2019. After searching for the detenue with the neighbours and relatives, petitioner lodged a complaint before the first respondent on 02.12.2019 and a case was registered in Crime No.1077/2019 for 'Girl Missing'. Since there is no progress, the present petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief.

4. Today, the detenue was produced before this Court. On enquiry, the detenue stated that due to some misunderstanding with her mother, she left home and stayed in her friend's house. The detenue also expressed her willingness to go along with her mother. In the aforestated circumstance, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present petition.
