O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the final report in C.C.No.230 of 2025 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Vellore, Vellore District, for the offences under Sections 281 and 125(b) of BNS.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner being the driver of a Government bus, drove the bus in a rash and negligent manner which resulted in the respondent sustaining grievous injury.

3. The statement of the witnesses clearly indicate the rash and negligent driving of the petitioner. Whether the statement is true of not, is a matter of evidence. The contention of the petitioner that CCTV footage is available to disprove the entire prosecution case, is also a matter of evidence. Therefore, this Court finds no merits in this petition.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.

5. However, it is well opened to the petitioner to file necessary document before the trial Court to establish his defence during trial.

6. Further, the personal appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court is dispensed with except for receipt of copies, answering the charges, questioning under section 313 Cr.P.C./Section 351 of BNSS and on the date 2/4

of pronouncing judgment and also on any other dates as may be required by the trial Court.
