The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147,148,151 of I.P.C and 7(1) (a) in Crime No.270 of 2023 registered on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 01.11.2023 the respondent found that the petitioner and 26 workers of the said company were preparing for riot. Hence the respondent police has registered the case against the petitioner and other persons.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a Managing Director of VM Food Products Pvt Ltd., situated at Panruti. He further submitted that the petitioner's name does not find place in the F.I.R 1/3

4. On a perusal of the F.I.R it is seen that the petitioner's name is found in the F.I.R.

5. In view of that particular fact, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
