ORDER
The petitioner has filed the present petition praying to transfer M.C.No.49 of 2023 from the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Alandur (Magistrate Level), 1 / 4
Chennai, to the file of the Judicial Magistrate-I, Krishnagiri.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners herein (wife and minor child) submitted that at the time of filing the petition before the trial Court, the first petitioner (wife) was residing in Chennai. However, subsequently, the first petitioner went to Krishnagiri and now residing there. In order to verify it, the Court also directed the jurisdictional Police, i.e. Krishnagiri Taluk Police Station to ascertain the fact . After enquiry, it is found that the petitioners are residing now in Krishnagiri. As the petitioners are residing in Krishnagiri now, the first petitioner may not be in a position to travel all the way from Krishnagiri to Alandur (Chennai).
3. Therefore, considering the facts and circumstances, M.C.No.49 of 2023 shall stand withdrawn from the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Alandur (Magistrate Level) and be transferred to the file of the Mahila Court, Krishnagiri. The Additional Mahila Judge, Alandur is directed to send the entire records to the file of the Mahila Court at Krishnagiri, forthwith.
