This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the second respondent police to take further action on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 14.09.2019, subsequently assigned in CSR.No.1595 of 2019 on the file of the respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

Today when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the complaint dated 14.09.2019 alleged to be given by the petitioner is not related to CSR.No.1595 of 2019. According to him, the enquiry initiated in CSR No.1595 of 2019 is related to one Venkatesa Perumal and also the submission made by the Additional Public Prosecutor reveals the fact that no such representation dated 14.09.2019 is pending on the file of the second respondent.
4. In view of the above, it would be appropriate to direct the petitioner to submit a fresh complaint to the second respondent. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh complaint to the second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and if such complaint has been received from the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the same within a period of one month from the date of receipt of the complaint.
5. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
