ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The contempt petition has been instituted to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 05.09.2024 in W.P.No.18761 of 2024.
Mr.R.Sankarasubbu, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the direction issued by this Court has not been complied with.

In response, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents would furnish a copy of the order passed by the Director General of Prisons and Correctional Services in proceedings dated 08.12.2024.

The order passed in pursuance to the directions issued by this Court was communicated to the wife of the prisoner and his Advocate viz., Mr.Murali through E-mail. Thus, the respondents have not committed an act of wilful disobedience and consequently, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
