Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent to pay the arrears of the Petitioners Earned Leave (EL) Pension, Gratuity, Dearness Allowance and Salary Arrears, from the Respondent Corporation with 12 per cent interest P.A. till the date of payment. O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the Respondent to pay the arrears of the Petitioner's Earned Leave (EL) Pension, Gratuity, Dearness Allowance and Salary Arrears, from the Respondent Corporation with 12 per cent interest P.A. till the date of payment.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as a Driver Instructor in the respondent Corporation and retired from service on 31.03.2023, on attaining the age of superannuation. His grievance is that though he had retired from service on 31.03.2023, his arrears of payment towards Earned Leave, Pension, Gratuity, Dearness Allowance and Salary Arrears has not been paid by the respondents till date. In this regard, he sent a representation to the respondent on 12.07.2025 but the same has not been considered. Hence, this Writ Petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent and perused the records.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case 2/4

and the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.07.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not made any observation with regard to the merits or claims of the petitioner.
