This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation and to file the charge sheet within a stipulated time in Crime No.07 of 2020 dated 11.07.2020 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent/Police, on instructions submitted that investigation in Crime No.07 of 2020 has already been completed and referred charge sheet has been filed before the learned Judge, Additional Mahila Court, Ariyalur on 30.11.2020.

3. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
