Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ or order in more particularly in nature of writ of habeas corpus and calling for the records of the 2nd respondent in connection with C3/D.O./No.121/2019 order dated 01.11.2019 passed by th3 2nd respondent against petitioner's son Nagaraj, age 37, S/o.Marimuthu, who is confined at Central Prison, Vellore and quash the same may be direct the respondents to produce the body of detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in C3/D.O./No.121/2019 order dated 01.11.2019 detaining her son as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.5303, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 16.12.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
