Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to complete the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner pursuant to the charge memo dated 24.07.2018 within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to complete the disciplinary proceedings that has been initiated against the petitioner within a time frame that can be fixed by this Court. 2.It is seen from the records that the petitioner is working in the respondent College and he was issued with show cause notice on 11.11.2017. The petitioner has also given reply to the show cause notice. Thereafter, a charge memo came to be issued against the petitioner on 21.07.2018 with two charges against the petitioner and an explanation has also been given by the petitioner.
3.The grievance of the petitioner is that no enquiry has been commenced on the charge memo that was issued as against the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

4.Heard Ms.N.Kavitha Rmeshwar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Kadirvel, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent.
5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the departmental proceedings that has been initiated against the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is also directed to give a fresh representation to the respondent along with the copy of this order. 6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No Costs.
