Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take appropriate action in order to strictly implement the G.O.Ms.No.611 dated 25.08.2013 and to ensure that the Contract Carriage Auto Rickshaw playing in Tamil Nadu inclusive of metropolitan areas to engage the meter and to collect the fare fixed by the first respondent. (Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.J.Ramesh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. The writ petition is filed seeking implementation of G.O.Ms.No.611 dated 25.08.2013.

3. Similar writ petition was filed bearing No.5142 of 2022 for implementation of G.O.No.611 dated 25.08.2013.

4. The Division Bench of this Court, in which, one of us (D.Bharatha Chakravarthy,J) was a party, decided the writ petition under order dated 06.04.2022, thereby giving certain directions.

5. In view of the fact that already the said G.O. was the subject matter of consideration of this Court, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition.
