The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 318, 316, 61(1) and 61(2) of BNS Act, 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the complaint is under enquiry in C.No.148/JCOP (NZ) / CAMP / visitors / 2025 dated 25.07.2025. He further submitted that if the petitioners cooperate with the investigation, there is no need to apprehension of arrest.

3. Considering the nature of the complaint, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners herein to participate in the enquiry on receipt of the summons and cooperate for the investigation. If the petitioners cooperate with the enquiry, the respondent police shall complete the enquiry and file the final report within a period of two weeks from today. No coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioners unless and until any serious cognizable offence is made out. 18.09.2025 smv 2/4
