Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, Directing the 2nd respondent issue patta to the petitioner's land comprised in S.No.96, Pomandaalli Village, Kariamangalam Taluk, Dharmapuri District to extend of 23 cents within a time stipulated by this Honourable Court. Since the petitioner's online applications dated 11.07.2024 seeking the issuance of a patta with reference to the property comprised in S.No.96, Pomandaalli Village, Kariamangalam Taluk, Dharmapuri District measuring an extent of 23 cents, has not been considered by the 2nd respondent, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned AGP accepting notice for the respondents.

Considering the limited prayer that is sought and also considering the fact that the online application of the petitioner dated 11.07.2024 has not been considered to date, a mandamus is issued to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 11.07.2024 for issuance of patta after issuing notice to all the interest parties and pattadars, hearing their objections and thereafter pass orders. In case of a rejection a speaking order shall be passed. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. 2/5
