For Appellant : Mr.M.Murali Vinodh For R1 to R4 : Ms.P.T.Saleem Fathima JUDGEMENT Aggrieved by the quantum of compensation awarded by the Tribunal in M.C.O.P.No.87 of 2020, dated 10.11.2022, the appellant/Transport Corporation has filed the present Appeal.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the claimants/respondents herein have filed Civil Miscellaneous Appeal viz., C.M.A.No.1503 of 2023, challenging the quantum of compensation awarded by the Tribunal in M.C.O.P.No.87 of 2020, dated 10.11.2022 and by the Judgment dated 24.07.2023, the said appeal was allowed partly and the compensation awarded by the Tribunal is enhanced from Rs.22,37,500/- to Rs.23,83,750/- together with interest at 7.5% per annum from the date of petition till the date of deposit.

3. In view of the above, this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of in terms of the order passed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court dated 24.07.2023 in C.M.A.1503 of 2023. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
