ORDER

Apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.182 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 336(2), 336(3), 340(2), 256, 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, the 1/4

present petition has been filed seeking anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, who was working as an Employee in Neyveli Lignite Corporation with the help of the Head Constable, had allegedly obtained NOC fraudulently. Hence, this case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is no way connected with the alleged offence and prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The case of the prosecution as putforth by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police, opposing for grant of anticipatory bail, is that the petitioner had allegedly obtained NOC fraudulently with the help of police constable, who is A1 in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner has six previous cases pending against him. He also submitted that this Court had already dismissed the anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.28342 of 2024 by an order dated 13.11.2024. 2/4

5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent police and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the gravity of the offence and that the petitioner has six previous cases pending against him and also taking note of the fact that there is no change of circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
