O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for direction to respondents 1 to 3 not to grant any patta to the fourth respondent in respect of the subject land.

It is seen that the petitioner is residing at the village where the subject property comprised in survey No.371/1, 371/2 and 387, Manmalai Village admeasuring 30 acres of land is situated. It is classified as tharisu Government land.

On perusal of the representation submitted by the petitioner, it is revealed that the petitioner finds that the subject property belongs to a temple i.e. Varadaraja Perumal temple. However, there is absolutely no document to show that the subject land belongs to any temple. It is classified as tharisu and it is belongs to the Government. 4.

On instruction, the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submitted that already the subject land was leased 2/4

out in favour of a third party. However, the petitioner objected for the same though he has absolutely no locus to raise objections while dealing with the property by respondents 1 to 3.

In view of above, the direction sought in this writ petition cannot be considered. As such, this writ petition is devoid of merits and the same is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed.
