O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to 2nd respondent to take over the administrative control of the temple called Sri Kannanur Mariamman, Sri Vinayagar and Sri Muniappa Temple situated at P.Nallagoundanpatti, Omalur Taluk, Salem District under HR and CE Department.

2. It is the specific case of the petitioner that the above mentioned temple has been under the administrative control of 5 persons including the petitioners and respondents 3 to 5. It is the further case of the petitioner that respondents 3 to 5 acting independently and mis-managed the affairs of the temple. Therefore, the petitioners submitted a representation before the 2nd respondent on 13.05.2024 requesting him to bring the temple under the control of HR & CE Department.

3. Mr.K.Karthikeyan, learned Government Advocate(HR & CE), who takes notice for the respondents, on written instructions, submits that necessary enquiry will be made by the Inspector, HR & CE Department with regard to the request made by the petitioner based on the circulars issued by 2/4

the 1st respondent.

4. In view of the same, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.05.2024 and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioners and the respondents 3 to 5.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
