The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file a final report in connection with Crime No.176 of 2025 before the appropriate Court within a stipulated time.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that based on the complaint given by the de facto complainant, the respondent Police registered a case in Crime No.176 of 2025 against the accused. However, the investigation in this case is still pending and no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition has been filed. 3.
Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that the investigation is in progress and respondent Police will be able to file the final report within three months. 4.
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.176 of 2025 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, under due intimation to the de facto complainant. 2/4

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
