PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2 nd and 3 rd respondents to survey and demarcate the four boundaries of the petitioner's Patta lands vide survey No. 280/2A 280/2D and 280/2F in Attimutlu Village, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District within a time frame as may be fixed by thisCourt and further direct the 4th respondent to provide necessary protection for the same.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to survey and demarcate the four boundaries of the petitioner's Patta lands vide survey No. 280/2A 280/2D and 280/2F in Attimutlu Village, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District with the aid of the 4 th respondent.

2.Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government th respondent. By consent of both the Advocate takes notice on behalf of the 4 parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner made an application on 26.08.2025 and paid necessary fees, to measure the petitioner's property, till date the same has not been considered by the respondents 2 and 3. Hence, he prayed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to consider and dispose of petitioner's application dated 26.08.2025. 4.Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the application of the petitioner dated 26.08.2025 will be considered and disposed of within four weeks.

5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the 4 th respondent.

6.Considering the submission made by both the parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the application of the petitioner dated 26.08.2025 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing due notice to the obstructors, if any. It is needless to state that, if there is any obstruction for measuring the petitioner's land, the respondents 2 and 3 shall complete the process with the aid of the 4 th respondent/Police. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents 2 and 3 within a period of four weeks from today.

7.With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
