ORDER

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent authority to give police protection and permission to conduct Kattu Pooja, ancient with traditional cultural dance programme Giramiya Therukuthu Nadagam in a grand manner by rally with statue by procession with drums, music and celebrations on the way of Tirukoil Madapalli to Arulmigu Manarsamy Pachaiamman Thirukoil at Pethampatti village, Salem Taluk. Salem District on 20.12.2019 from 9 a.m to 8 p.m in a grand manner and consider the petitioner's representation dated on 28.11.2019, 04.12.2019.

The respondent police is directed to conduct an enquiry with regard to the representations submitted by the petitioner dated 28.11.2019 and 04.12.2019 by giving an opportunity to the petitioner as well as the persons who are having any rival claims if any, and dispose of the same on or before 19.12.2019 and inform the decision taken to the petitioner.

3. With the aforesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
