This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a directing to the 1st respondent to issue a No Objection Certificate to the petitioner to run a SPA i.e., cross relaxation massage in the name and style of "KERALA REJUVENTION SPA CENTRE" at Door No.326/3047, K.S.V.Nagar, 6th Cross street, Narasothipatti, Salem District PIN 636 004, by passing orders on petitioner's representation dated 13.11.2024.

2. On perusal of the counter filed by the second respondent revealed that the petitioner is required to produce the following necessary certificates for issuance of licence.

(a) The license should possess a degree offered by any of the recognized Universities in (i) Physiotherapy(BPT) with four years duration and six months compulsory internship 2/5

(ii) B.Sc (Occupational Therapy) (iii) M.Sc (Occupational Therapy) or (iv) Diploma in Physiotherapy with 3 years duration Therefore, the petitioner was issued notice for appearance and production of documents and required certificates. However, so far the petitioner did not appear before the enquiry ..

3. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and dispose the application within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Further, the petitioner is also directed to produce whatever they required as per the Gazette notification for issuance of right to run the spa.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 28.02.2025 Vv 3/5
