PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to direct the first and second respondent to implement the revision of pay scales of Inspectors of Central Excise and Superintendent of Central Excise uniformly, with effect from 01.01.1996 without discriminating against those who have not individually approached any judicial forum in this regard and thus render justice, and call for the records of the fourth respondent in passing the impugned order dated 12.8.2025 and quash the same as the same is arbitrary, without the authority of law and in violation of Article 14 and 141 of the Constitution of India and direct the fourth respondent to revise the pay scale of the petitioner to Rs.6500-10500 with effect from 01.01.1996 and to Rs.7500-Rs.12000 from 23.09.2002 and to pay the arrears pay and allowances and pension and allowances to the petitioner along with appropriate interest.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition. An Endorsement to the said effect is also made by the learned counsel for the petitioner in the Petition today.
