Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose the Statutory Revision filed u/s.153 of Tamilnadu Co.Op. Societies Act, 1983 by the petitioner on 24.06.2019 within a stipulated time. For Petitioner : Ms.Hemalatha for Mr.C.Prakasam.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioner under Section 153 of the Tamilnadu Co-operative Societies Act.

2.The petitioner has sought for disbursement of his retirement benefits and the same was rejected by an order passed by the second respondent on 28.06.2018. Aggrieved by the same, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner has filed a revision petition before the first respondent on 24.06.2019. Since no orders have been passed in the revision petition, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

3.Heard Ms.Hemalatha, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioner on 24.06.2019 on its own merits and in accordance with law and orders shall be passed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
