ORDER
The learned Senior Panel Counsel for Central Government submitted a letter dated 17.02.2026 to the following effect: "1. Under instructions from my clients (i) The Secretary to Government, Ministry of Coal and Mines, Union of India, New Delhi. (ii) The Chairman Cum Managing Director, MECL (Mineral Exploration Consultancy Ltd), (iii) The Buyer, Mineral Exploration and Consultancy Ltd (MECL) (iv) The Project Manager, MECL, Sikkal Project 1/245, Devipattinam, Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu, I have filed Review Application No.246 of 2026 against the order dated 20.08.2025 passed in W.P.No.13383 of 2025. On 09.10.2025, the above Review Application No.246/2025 against W.P.13383 of 2025.
2. It has come to light that M/s.Oriental Services Associates Private Limited had obtained the contract through a certificate 2/4
which was not properly obtained by the said company and they had filed a fake certificate. Hence, the contract has been cancelled on 13.02.2026. The Review Petitioner company has instructed me to withdraw the Review Application."
2. In the light of the above development, since the certificate was found to be fake, the official respondents have cancelled the contract on 13.02.2026. A vigilance enquiry had also been ordered and it is pending.
3. Recording the same, this review application is disposed of. No costs.
