The notice that was taken out on the respondent at the address in the Film Assignment Agreements signed between the applicant and the respondent has remained unserved as the postal receipt has been returned with an endorsement "left without instructions".

2. Under these circumstances, the applicant was permitted to move this application for effecting substituted service of notice on the respondent.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this application, this application is ordered.

4. The applicant is permitted to take out substituted service of notice on the respondent by effecting Paper Publications in English Newspaper "Deccan Chronicle", in Chennai Edition and in Tamil Daily Newspaper "Daily Thanthi".
