O R D E R

(Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the detenue, by name Revathi, W/o.Govindaraj, aged 23 years, before this Court and set her at liberty. 1/3

2.In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it is averred that the petitioner married the detenue and they were blessed with two children namely, Priya and Rakesh, aged 8 and 6 years respectively. While so, the detenue went missing on 12.11.2019. In this regard, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the second respondent police and the same was registered in Crime No.188 of 2019 for woman missing. Since the police has not taken any steps to secure the detenue, the petitioner is before this Court with the present Habeas Corpus Petition. 3.Today, when the petition is taken up for consideration, the detenue was produced before this Court. On enquiry, she would submit that due to some mis-understanding, she left the house and went to Melmalaiyanur and stayed in a temple on her volition.

She expressed her willingness to go along with the petitioner and that there is no illegal detention. 4.In view of the submission made by the detenu, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Habeas Corpus Petition. As there is no allegation of illegal detention, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
