Prayer :- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation dated 07.01.2019 and issue patta for survey No.481/5 for an extent of 0.37 cents in Kappalur Village, Kalasapakkam Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District in the name.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition for direction directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider her representation for issuance of patta for the land comprised in survey No.481/5 for an extent of 0.37 cents in Kappalur Village, Kalasapakkam Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

2. Now, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner died.

3.Heard, Mr.S.Ambigapathi, the learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.A.Selvendran, Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the legal heirs of the petitioner are at liberty to submit their application for issuance of patta for the subject land before the fourth respondent. On receipt of the same, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the same and, after issuance of notice to them and giving them opportunity of hearing, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of application.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
