O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent/Police to execute the pending Non-bailable Warrant issued by the Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court-II (At Metropolitan Magisterial Level), Allikulam, Egmore, in S.T.C.No.4951 of 2024, dated 27.11.2024 against the third respondent herein/accused within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials available on record.

According to the petitioner, he filed private complaints against the third respondent under Sections 138 and 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, which were taken on file in S.T.C.Nos.4949, 4950, 4951 and 1241 of 2024 and summons were served. Though the third respondent failed to appear before the trial Court after receiving summons, the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court-II (At Metropolitan Magisterial Level), Allikulam, Egmore, issued a bailable Page Nos.2/5
warrant on 09.08.2024. Consequently, the Court below issued NonBailable Warrant on 27.11.2024. However, the second respondent-Police has not taken any steps to execute the warrant till date. Hence, the present petition is filed.

Considering the facts and circumstances and also considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the second respondent/Police, is hereby directed to execute the Non-bailable Warrant issued by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court-II (At Metropolitan Magisterial Level), Allikulam, Egmore, in S.T.C.No.4951 of 2024 dated 27.11.2024 against the third respondent, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
