This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 28.11.2019, seeking for employment on compassionate grounds.

The case of the petitioner is that his father was working as a Village Assistant for nearly 17 years and he died suddenly while in service. The further case of the petitioner is that the family was entirely depending on his income and at the time of death of his father, the petitioner was only aged about 12 years. The petitioner after attaining majority, made a representation seeking for employment on compassionate ground. is clear from the list that has been filed before this Court, which shows that the petitioner has been kept at Sl.No.45 in the waiting list. The grievance of the petitioner is that there is absolutely no progress on the side of the respondents and therefore, he made a representation dated 28.11.2019 in this regard and the same has also not been considered. Consequently, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 3.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents. 4.
Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 28.11.2019 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation along with copy of the representation dated 28.11.2019 and also a copy of this order. 5.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
