The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State, on instructions, seeks six months time to complete the investigation on the complaint registered on 08.09.2023 for the alleged offences occurred on 18.11.2021.

Taking note of the reason stated, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report as early as possible preferably not later than six months.
