PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the No. 1 to 7 respondents to take necessary action on the representation of the Petitioner, dated 23.09.2024, 14.10.2024 and 28.10.2024 and revoke if any permission or license granted to anyone to sell fire crackers at the place, being land comprised in present survey No. 87/1 and 87/2, measuring an extent of acre 1.04 cents,situated at Periyakuppam Village, Tiruvallur taluk and District. The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to respondents 1 to 7 to take necessary action on the representation of the petitioner dated 23.09.2024, 14.10.2024 and 28.10.2024 and revoke permission or licence, if any, granted to anyone to sell fire crackers in the land situated in Survey Nos.87/1 and 87/2 measuring an extent of 1.04 acres at Periyakuppam Village, Tiruvallur Taluk and District.

2. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, on written instructions from 1st respondent dated 13.12.2024 in Rc.No.

10326247/2024/M5, submits that a temporary license was granted to 8th and 9th respondents for running a cracker shop from 26.10.2024 to 25.11.2024 and the license period is already over. The said submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 is recorded.

3. In view of the fact that license granted to respondents 8 and 9 is already over, there is nothing to adjudicate in this writ petition.

4. It is always open to the petitioner to workout his remedy against the private respondents in the pending civil litigation. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
