ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take appropriate action based on the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2023 for issuing the Patta in respect of the property comprises in Old Survey No. 129/2PT, New Survey 106/1, Block No.8, situated at No.17/2, Palaiyakkara Street, Ayanavaram, Chennai-600 023, to the petitioner, within a stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2023 within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

3. Mr.R.U.Dinesh Rajkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that a direction may be issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2023 within a stipulated time as the case may be.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2023 and conduct enquiry in the manner known to law after issuing notice and giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and interested parties/rival claimants/objectors if any as the case may be and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
