PRAYER: Civil Suit is filed under Order IV Rule 1 of High Court O.S. Rules and Order VII Rule 1 of CPC read with Sections 51, 55(1) and 63 of the Copyright Act, 1957, praying:- (a) for permanent injunction restraining the defendants 1 to 3, by itself, their servants, agents, distributors, or anyone claiming through them from releasing the documentary series 'KOOSE MUNISAMY VEERAPPAN UNSEEN VEERAPPAN TAPES' on the third defendant's OTT platform ZEE5 or on any medium; and (b) for a direction to the defendants to pay to the plaintiff the costs of the suit.

The plaintiff has made an endorsement in the Court bundle stating as follows:- (a) She has received a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- towards full and final settlement of the suit claim.

(b) She has returned the copy of the agreement entered between the defendants 2 and 3 to the counsel for the defendants 1 and 2.

(c) She will not disclose the settlement reached in this suit to the media.

2. The learned counsel for the plaintiff as well as the learned counsel for the defendants 1 and 2 have also counter-signed the endorsement made by the plaintiff.

3. After recording the aforesaid endorsement, this suit is dismissed as settled out of Court. Consequently, Application No.1043 of 2023 is closed. 13.12.2023 rkm 3/4
