O R D E R

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence under Section 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act in Crime No.336 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner along with other accused purchased ganja from Andhrapradesh and illegally kept for selling in local area and at the time of search by the respondent police, 1.450 kgs of ganja was recovered from A1. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ranked as A7 and she is wife of A6 who was already arrested and now he is in prison. He further submitted that she has been falsely implicated in this case based on the involvement of her husband in the present case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondent police, reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner is a habitual offender and he is also having ten previous cases ofalready this petitioner was arrested in another case in Crime No.40/25. Hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, taking note of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal 2/4

Side), and also the petitioner is having one previous case and no recovery was recorded in this case and though the statement recorded by the respondent police reveals that through her husband (A6) she also bring ganja, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
