ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the learned Fast Track-I Magistrate, Alikulam to dispose of the private complaint filed by the petitioner in C.C.No.7076 of 2018 at early.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that based on the complaint filed by the petitioner, a case was taken on file against the respondent in C.C.No.7076 of 2018 on the file of Fast Track Court Magistrate No.1, Allikulam for the alleged offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. He further submitted that even though the respondent appeared before the trial court on 21.08.2019 and took time for reporting settlement, he did not come forward to settle the case and hence on 23.09.2019. The complainant filed proof affidavit as PW1 and marked Exs.P.1 to P.11 and at the request of the respondent/accused, the case was adjourned to 14.10.2019 for cross examination and thereafter no progress has been made and hence, he requests to direct the trial court to dispose of the aforesaid case at early.

3. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the trial court is directed to dispose of the aforesaid case as early as possible.

4. With the aforesaid directions, this petition is disposed of.
