This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the F.I.R pending as against this petitioner in Crime No.43 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent Police.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police submitted that after completion of investigation, the respondent police filed a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VII, Coimbatore and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.1318 of 2024. It is also submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that petitioner's name has been deleted in the final report and hence nothing further survives for adjudication in this criminal original petition.
4. In view of the above submission, the criminal original petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
