Heard Mr. S.Karthikeyan, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Ms. Geetha Thamaraiselvan, Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the First Respondent and Ms. L.Sumathi, Learned Counsel appearing for the Second Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the First Respondent to pass orders on the representation dated 24.07.2019 made by the Petitioner seeking the resolution of the Board Meeting and the General Body of the Co-operative Society of the Second Respondent. 3.

The Second Respondent, who is present in the court today states that the resolution of the Board Meeting and the General Body, which are available from the records of the Co-operative Societies would be furnished to the Petitioner and the said statement is recorded. Since the documents are voluminous, it has been agreed that the Petitioner shall inspect the records in the office of the Second Respondent in person and whatever documents are chosen by him shall be furnished to him on payment of the cost incurred for it. 2/4

It shall be ensured by the Second Respondent that the aforesaid exercise is completed expeditiously.

In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs. 13.02.2024 Index: Yes/No NCC: Yes/No Maya Note: Issue order copy by 24.05.2024.
