Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta for the land to an extent of 0.04 cent in survey No.241/6A and to an extent of 0.89 cents in Survey No.241/6B of Palayamkottai-village 1/5

Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District based on the representation addressed to the respondents No.1 and 2 dated 28.1.2025. For Petitioner : Mr.D.Veerasekharan For Respondents : Mrs.S.Indhu Bala Additional Government Pleader Order Heard Mr.D.Veerasekharan learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Indhu Bala, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for the following prayer:- i) For issuance of a mandamus to the respondents to issue patta for the petitioner's land situated at Palayamkottai-village Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District based on the representation dated 28.01.2025.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents 1 and 2 dated 28.01.2025 to include the petitioner's name in the 'A' Register and to issue 2/5

patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of her property, however, the respondents 1 and 2 did not consider the petitioner's request as on date, hence, the present Writ Petition seeking for aforesaid relief.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents fairly submitted that representation made by the petitioner would be considered and disposed of in accordance with law within the time, as stipulated by this Court.

In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents and considering the limited scope of the prayer, sought for by the petitioner, in this Writ Petition, this Court, without expressing any view with regard to the merits of the contentions putforth by the petitioner either in the Writ Petition or in the representation, is of the view that, suffice it would be to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2025 in a time bound manner.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation made by the petitioners dated 28.01.2025 and dispose of the same as early as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
