This Criminal Original Petition is filed to modify the condition i.e., ''the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.75,000/- with two sureties each for a like sum and the sureties shall be a owner of movable or immovable property worth more than Rs.75,000/- and they shall furnish necessary documents'' made in Crl.M.P.No.52025 of 2024 on the file of the V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai by order dated 19.09.2024, for return of case property (Two wheeler bearing Registration No.TN 01 BK 6432, Honda Activa and Vivo Y28 5G Mobile-1).

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the condition to execute a bond for Rs.75,000/- is onerous for the petitioner and therefore, the same may be modified. 3.

The trial Court taking note of the value of the two wheeler and cell phone has imposed the condition to execute a bond for Rs.75,000/-. However, the petitioner states that he is unable to execute the bond for Rs.75,000/- and ready to execute the bond for Rs.15,000/-. 4.

Hence the order of the trial Court is modified to the effect 2/4

that the petitioner shall execute a bond for Rs.15,000/-(Rupees Fifteen Thousand) instead of Rs.75,000/-. All other conditions shall stand confirmed.

With this modification, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
