O R D E R

This Criminal Revision Petition has been filed seeking to set aside the order passed by the Special Court for Prevention of Corruption Act Cases/The Chief Judicial Magistrate, Villupuram District, on 12.05.2023 in C.M.P.No.221 of 2022 filed under Section 451 of Cr.P.C for return of properties in connection with Crime No.17 of 2019, registered on the file of the respondent Police.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the investigation in this case is still pending. He further submitted that only after the completion of investigation, the respondent would be able to file the final report and also to conclude whether the petitioner is entitled for return of property or not. 2/4

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Criminal Revision Case and he also prayed that liberty may be given to the petitioner to approach the trial Court after filing of the final report. He has also made an endorsement in the case bundle to that effect.

4. In view of the above submissions and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Revision Case stands dismissed as withdrawn.
