ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to recall the nonbailable warrant issued by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvarur District, in STC No.8 of 2021.

2. The petitioner is arrayed as accused in STC No.8 of 2021 on the 1/4

file of Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvarur District, for an offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

3. The petitioner was absent during the trial in STC No.8 of 2021 on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvarur District. Therefore nonbailable warrant came to be issued on 03.06.2023.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner undertakes that the petitioner shall appear before the Court below regularly on all future hearing dates without fail.

5. Considering the undertaking given by the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvarur District, within a period of two weeks from today and file a petition to recall the NBW issued against him. The concerned Magistrate is directed to consider the same on merits and pass orders on the same day.

Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. 2/4
