Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, Direct the respondents to process the e-challan No 2025/ 0123 / 37 /004626, dated 19.07.2025 for Survey No 213 and to carry out the sub division with police aid and to fix the boundaries in respect of the petitioners property situated at Thenkadappanthangal village, Walajapet Taluk Ranipet District 1/6

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to process the e-challan No 2025/ 0123 / 37 /004626, dated 19.07.2025 for Survey No 213 and to carry out the sub division with police aid and to fix the boundaries in respect of the petitioner's property.

2. Mrs.S.Indhu Bala, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the 1st & 2nd respondents and Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent.

3. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner had acquired the subject property vide the partition deed dated 26.12.2013. Thereafter, he made an application to survey the subject property and made payment vide E-Challan on 19.07.2025. However, the said application was not at all considered by the respondents 1 & 2 till date. Hence, this writ petition.

5. In reply, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would request this Court to pass appropriate orders directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner.

6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record.

7. In the case on hand, initially, the petitioner had acquired the subject property vide the partition deed dated 26.12.2013. Thereafter, he 3/6

made an application to survey the subject property and made payment vide E-Challan on 19.07.2025. However, the said application was not at all considered by the respondents 1 & 2 till date.

In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 19.07.2025 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law after serving due notice to all the aggrieved persons if any, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If there is any obstruction in the process of measuring and fixing boundary stones at the subject land, the respondents 1 & 2 are at liberty to approach 3rd respondent, who shall provide all necessary assistance to them till the completion of process.

9. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
