ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to provide with agricultural electricity service connection to the petitioners agricultural land comprised in S.No.64/1 of Kanavaipudhur village, Salem District based on the application of the petitioner registered in KTR No.089 dated 29.8.2016 and consequent proceedings of the 4th respondent in Memo No.AE/O and M/South /Bommidi/C1/San.No.07/2021-22 dated 31.3.2022. As per the direction of the 3 rd respondent, the petitioner has submitted all the documents as requested by them. However, the respondents have not provided

the electricity service connection to the petitioners agricultural land. Hence, the present petition.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application and pass orders after considering the memo issued by the 4 th respondent on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs. 17-09-2025 Rli
