ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.,] (1)The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the respondents to consider his online application dated 06.10.2023 for issuance of Community Certificate in accordance with law.

(2)Mr.M.Bindran, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

(3)The case of the petitioner is that he belongs to 'Kurumans' Community which comes under Scheduled Tribe. An application has been filed by the petitioner on 06.10.2023 to the respondents for issuance of a Community Certificate to him. The petitioner states that he has uploaded all relevant documents to support his claim.

(4)This Court finds that the documents which are filed by the petitioner are only the Transfer Certificate issued by the School in which the petitioner had studied and a Koor Chit which is not produced before this Court. There is no other document which can be considered as a verifiable

material to consider the community status of the petitioner. (5)Since the prayer is only limited, this Court, without going into the merits of the contentions of the petitioner and the application, directs the respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 06.10.2023 for issuance of a Community Certificate to the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and dispose of the same within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
