Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 7 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2019 given to the respondents 1 to 7 herein and to direct the respondents 1 to 7 to remove all the encroachments made in the water course of the irrigation canal coming from Devathanampet Lake to the agricultural lands by the respondents 8 to 18 and for its reconstruction and maintenance of the said irrigation canal.

ORDER
(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.P.Balamurugan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Edwin Prabakar, learned State Government Pleader, assisted by Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 7.
2. Learned State Government Pleader submits that inspection has been conducted and Form I has been issued to Block Development Officer. The encroachers have been identified. The petitioner is also one of the encroachers.
3. Whomsoever are the encroachers, action has to be taken to evict the encroachers in accordance with law.
4. As steps are being undertaken by the official respondents to remove the encroachments, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
