PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to evict the striking workmen who are staying inside the factory premises of the petitioner continuously from 2.00 p.m., on 27.11.223 onwards and consequently direct the 1st respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to enable its employees, staff, officers and other managerial personnel, customers and suppliers to enter and exit the factory premises including ingres and egress of men and materials, vehicles and finished product and ensure that the striking Page No.1/4
workmen are 500 meters away from the petitioner's factory situated at Old No.196, New No.214, Velachery,-Tambaram Main Road, Pallikkaranai, Chennai-600 100 and maintain industrial peace in and around petitioner's factory.

ORDER
The petitioner herein seeking protection to the industry after evicting the striking workmen illegally staying in the factory premises since 27.11.2023. 2.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that all the workman has been cleared of from the factory premises yesterday night. The workmen have been instructed to resort to the provision of Industrial Dispute Act, to get redressal for their grievances and should not criminally trespass into the factory premises illegally and prevent the reporting workmen from discharging their work. 3.
Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to ensure that there is no illegal strike within the premises of the petitioner's factory and if there is any violation Page No.2/4
immediately case should be registered and the violators must be evicted and proceed further in accordance with law. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
