The petitioner/A2 in Crime No.422 of 2023, registered by the respondent police for the offence under Sections 294(b), 323, 309 & 506(ii) of IPC, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The defacto complainant was the wife of the petitioner herein. It is stated that the petitioner had the habit of entering into relationship with various women and later deserting them. It is stated that A1, was in continuous relationship with the petitioner herein.

3.It is stated that there are five previous cases against the petitioner herein including one under Section Immoral Traffic Prevention Act and there is also one other case under Section 302 of IPC in FIR in Crime No.234 of 2022 before the Kattur Police Station and another one under Section 379 of IPC. 4.Taking all these factors into consideration, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner herein. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
