The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 409 and 420 of I.P.C in Crime No.856 of 2023 registered on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner during the course of arguments submitted that the matter has been adjourned by this Court for the past four months. A perusal of the adjudication sheet reveals that it was adjourned from 18.12.2023 for filing counter. At the time of dictating the order, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

In view of the above submission and also the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
