ORDER

This Suo Motu case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.)No.618 of 2025.

2. This case is registered for the alleged offences under Sections 336, 337, 427 & 304A (2 counts) of IPC, 1860. Eventhough this is a case under Section 304A, this is a mishap that has happened during construction. The victim's side is present before the Court and submits that they doesn't want to pursue the matter further. Accordingly, this is a fit case for exercise of jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as per Gian Singh -Vs-State of Punjab & another, (2012 10 SCC 303). Accordingly, the case in CC.No.10846 of 2018 on the file of the XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet Taluk, Chennai stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer case is disposed of. 24.09.2025 rap electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
