(Order of the Court was delivered by M.S.RAMESH, J.) It is the case of the petitioner that her mother Madeswari was taken away by one Gowri Kanchana on 21.11.2023 and thereafter, she could not be traced. Her complaint in this regard came to be registered by the respondent police in Crime No.506 of 2023 under the caption 'Woman Missing'. In the background, the present Habeas Corpus Petition is filed. 2.Today, when the matter was called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that they have traced a body of a lady which is suspected to be that of the mother of the petitioner, which is based on the confession of the above said Gowri Kanchana. In view of this development, the offences in Crime No.506/2023 have also been altered into Sections 302, 380 & 201 IPC.

3. In view of this development, no further orders can be passed in the present Habeas Corpus Petition, since it is claimed that the petitioner's mother had died. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. (M.S.R., J.) (S.M., J.) 04.01.2024 Index : Yes / No bga/mtl To
